Uploading your own photos as the host
Add your own photos and videos straight from the gallery toolbar — no QR code or guest link required.

Most of the articles here are written for your guests, but you can add photos and videos to your own gallery just as easily — and you don't need to scan the QR code or open the guest link to do it.
From the gallery toolbar. Open your gallery from your dashboard and look for the Upload button on the Photos tab toolbar. Tap it (or drag a batch of files straight onto the photo grid on desktop) and pick the photos and videos you want to add. They land in the same gallery your guests upload to — there's no separate "host" album.
A progress panel keeps you posted. As your files upload, a panel docks in the corner with a row per file: queued, uploading, added, or — if something goes wrong — a clear reason why. If a file fails for a temporary reason (a flaky connection, say), a Retry failed button re-runs just those files. Files that can't ever be accepted, like an unsupported file type, are marked separately so you're not nudged to retry something that will never work.
It uploads one file at a time, on purpose. Host uploads run sequentially rather than all at once. That keeps large batches reliable on phones — especially iOS Safari, where parallel uploads can stall — so a folder of a few hundred photos finishes cleanly even on a mobile connection. You can keep using the rest of the page while it works, and cancel mid-batch if you change your mind.
The supported formats and size limits are the same as for guests — see Supported file types and sizes. If you're adding a professional photographer's delivery, see Adding professional photographer shots for how to badge those so guests can find them.
