Navigating the host dashboard
What's on each surface of the host dashboard — the gallery detail hub, the gallery list, and the export hub for downloads + print materials.
~7 min read
Once you've created a gallery, the host dashboard is where everything gets configured, moderated, and downloaded. Here's how the surfaces fit together so you can find what you need quickly.
/home — Account dashboard.
The first thing you see after signing in. Shows headline stats across every gallery you manage (photos, videos, likes, downloads, views, comments, RSVPs, storage) and a stack of recent-galleries cards. The navigational tiles click through to the relevant view on the gallery list — tap "Gallery visits" to sort galleries by views, "Waiting for review" to see galleries with photos awaiting your moderation, or "Storage used" to sort by storage. The plain count tiles (Photos & videos, Likes received, and the like) are read-outs, not links. The "Next event" tile shows your closest upcoming event date with a one-tap link straight into that gallery.
/home/galleries — Gallery list.
Every gallery you own or co-host, sortable by event date / name / created / views. Use the search field (or hit / from anywhere on the page) to filter by name. Status pills along the top filter by draft / scheduled / live / archived. Each card shows the live status, engagement chips (Views, Likes, Downloads, Comments, RSVPs), past-event badges, and any co-host markers. Click any chip to drill into the gallery detail with the matching sort already applied. The "New gallery" button sits to the right of the page header — that's your starting point for any new event.
/home/galleries/[id] — Gallery detail (the central hub).
This is where the heavy lifting happens for a single event. Everything you can configure or moderate lives here:
- Setup checklist at the top for new galleries — auto-derived from your current configuration so it ticks itself off as you complete each step (welcome message, event location, albums, theme, upload prompt, co-host, share, go-live).
- Status actions to flip a gallery between draft / scheduled / live / archived, including the "Schedule for later" and "Activate now" buttons.
- Share card with QR code + magic link + copy buttons + Print sign / Take-home cards / Recovery card shortcuts. Plus the embed iframe snippet when the gallery is live.
- Welcome content editor — message, photo or video, autoplay toggle, subtitle track.
- Branding — theme picker, logo upload, accent color, font, QR colors, host website + social handles.
- Moderation toggles + the pending photos queue + reported-by-guests review card + auto-hide-flagged toggle with threshold tuning.
- Albums section — create, reorder, set covers, per-album QR codes, per-album upload windows, privacy toggles.
- Photo grid with bulk-action selection, individual lightbox editing (captions, pins, pro shots), and the Trash recovery panel.
- Engagement cards — contributors, RSVPs, guestbook entries, pre-launch subscribers, comments, flagged photos. Each surfaces top entries with an expand-to-see-all link.
- Danger zone at the bottom — transfer ownership, delete gallery.
/home/galleries/[id]/export — Export hub.
Centralized download surface for one gallery. Lists the full-gallery ZIP, the standalone CSV exports (photos.csv, contributors.csv, guestbook.csv, comments.csv, rsvps.csv, private-notes.csv, pre-launch-subscribers.csv), and the print-ready route links (Print sign / Take-home cards / Recovery card). One place to grab everything when an event wraps.
The print-ready routes sit one level deeper:
/home/galleries/[id]/qr-print— full-page QR sign, browser-print to PDF./home/galleries/[id]/take-home-cards— 8-up A4 grid of mini-cards for place settings + wallets./home/galleries/[id]/recovery-card— PIN recovery card with the magic link + PIN (only available when a PIN is set).
All three are chrome-less by design — they're meant to be opened, printed (or saved to PDF), then closed. The gallery detail page's Share card has direct links to each.
Account settings + billing live at /home/settings and /home/billing for personal accounts. Team accounts have their own /home/[account]/settings + /home/[account]/billing + /home/[account]/members surfaces accessed via the workspace switcher in the top nav.
Most of your time on a typical event runs through /home/galleries/[id] — that's where 80% of the host workflow lives. The other surfaces are entry points or focused side-tasks.
