Troubleshooting uploads
What to try when an upload stalls, fails, or doesn't appear in the gallery.

Most upload issues at events come down to one thing: a slow or saturated venue wi-fi network. If a guest's upload is stuck on the progress bar, ask them to switch off wi-fi and use mobile data instead. PixVenu remembers which files in the batch finished, failed, or are still pending — if a file dies mid-upload the guest sees an inline error on that row and can hit Retry failed to re-send just the unfinished files (the ones that already landed stay landed; no double uploads).
If a photo seems to upload successfully but doesn't appear in the gallery, refresh the gallery page. The live feed updates on its own most of the time, but a manual refresh forces it to re-sync with the server.
When a specific file fails repeatedly, it's usually because the file is corrupted on the phone — try a different photo, or have the guest re-save the file from their camera roll and try again. Re-installing a browser isn't necessary; PixVenu runs entirely in the browser.
If multiple guests are reporting issues at once, check the gallery's privacy settings to make sure uploads aren't paused. Hosts on the dashboard can pause new uploads, which can sometimes get toggled by mistake.
