Letting guests download photos
Two host toggles control whether guests can save individual photos or download the whole gallery as a ZIP.

By default, guests can view your gallery but can't download anything from it — viewing is open, saving is the host's choice. If you'd like guests to take the photos home (download to their own phones or save for personal use), the host dashboard has two independent toggles to control how much they can save.
The first toggle controls per-photo downloads from the guest lightbox. With this on, guests scrolling the gallery see a small Download button under each photo when they tap to expand it. One tap saves the original full-resolution file to their device — no email gate, no signup, just the file.
The second toggle controls the bulk ZIP download. With this on, guests see a "Download all" affordance on the gallery page and on any individual album. Tapping it streams a ZIP of every photo in that scope to their browser. Useful for guests who want every photo from the night without having to tap-save them one at a time.
You can enable either toggle independently. Many hosts turn per-photo on and bulk off — guests can pick their favorites without one person walking away with everyone else's contributions. For close-friend events or family-only galleries, both on is fine. For galleries with sensitive content (children's parties, business events with NDAs), keep both off and ZIP the photos yourself from the host dashboard.
The host can change either toggle at any time. Guests who land on the gallery between settings see whatever's currently active — there's no caching or grandfathering that would let an old download path survive a host opt-out.
