Can I try PixVenu before I buy?

Two ways to evaluate PixVenu — a public sample gallery anyone can browse, plus the permanent free tier for hosting a real event.

There are two ways to evaluate PixVenu before committing to a paid tier — pick whichever fits where you are in your decision:

Browse the sample gallery — the live demo. The /demo route is a real, complete event gallery (a sample wedding) pre-populated with photos, captions, albums, a guestbook, and host metadata. You can scroll the grid, open the lightbox, switch between albums, watch the slideshow, and see exactly what the guest experience looks like — no sign-up required, no email gate.

A few intentional differences from a real gallery you'd own:

  • Upload + Download + Like buttons are visible but inert. Clicking opens a small "this is a preview" explainer rather than performing the action. The demo is a read-only sample so visitors get the visual + interaction story without us moderating uploads from people just kicking the tires.
  • Anyone can view it. Unlike a real gallery (which is unlisted-by-default), the demo URL is public and meant to be shared with anyone evaluating PixVenu.

The demo is the right path when you want to see what guests will experience — what the upload screen looks like, how albums render, how the lightbox + slideshow + guestbook fit together.

Host a real event on the free tier — free-photo-sharing-app. PixVenu has a permanent free tier (not a trial that expires) that lets you create your own gallery, share it with real guests, and collect real photos. It's capped — one gallery and 30 photos, with no time-based upload window and no auto-close or read-only state — but the cap is meant to support a real small event end-to-end. Upgrade to a paid tier any time if your event grows past the cap; the existing photos carry over without re-upload.

On the photo cap. Free galleries hold up to 30 photos; every paid tier is unlimited. If your event will outgrow 30 photos, that's the line to upgrade on — see Free vs paid galleries.

The free tier is the right path when you want to actually run an event through PixVenu before deciding whether to upgrade — testing in production, with your actual guests, on your actual event.

Both, in order, is the most common path. Most hosts who later become paid customers walk this sequence:

  1. Find PixVenu via search or referral
  2. Open /demo for 30 seconds to see what the guest experience looks like
  3. Sign up for the free tier to validate it works for their event
  4. Upgrade when they need more than the free-tier cap

If you want to talk through whether PixVenu fits a specific event before either of those, contact us and we'll walk through the right tier for your situation.

(When you're ready to upgrade, you do it online from the gallery's Upgrade button — pick a tier, pay by card, and the new plan unlocks right away. The free-tier signup at /auth/sign-up is live and self-serve too.)
