Downloading a single album as a ZIP

Skip the full-gallery archive and grab just one album — Ceremony only, Reception only, whichever phase you want.

For multi-phase events where you've organized photos into albums, you don't have to download the whole gallery archive every time you want photos from one specific moment. Each album row on your host dashboard has its own download affordance that streams just that album as a ZIP.

The per-album ZIP lives inside the album's QR / share dialog — click "Show QR" on the album row and you'll see a "Download album as ZIP" link alongside the QR code and copy-link buttons. The file is named <gallery-name>-<album-name>.zip so multiple album archives don't collide on your downloads folder.

Per-album archives are scoped to just the photo + video binaries for that album — no companion files, no README, no photos.csv, no guestbook, no RSVPs. Those gallery-wide companions live in the full-gallery archive at the gallery scope where they belong; bundling them into a per-album scope would mix gallery-level metadata into what's meant to be one slice. The intent is "I want only the ceremony photos for the photographer's edit folder," not "I want a complete editorial snapshot of this moment." If you DO want the editorial layer for one album, the host dashboard's per-album photos.csv (sibling to the per-album ZIP download in the same Album QR dialog) gives you the curation metadata for just that album.

If you've enabled the guest ZIP download toggle on the gallery, guests can also pull per-album ZIPs the same way — they see the same affordance inside the album view. The same album-level upload-window and album-privacy settings apply: a closed or private album that guests can't view also can't be downloaded.

For partners running events for clients, this is a convenient hand-off path — generate a ZIP per moment, share with the client via Dropbox or Drive, and you've sliced the deliverable without having to manually filter the full archive yourself.
